Questions

What grade learns parts of speech?

Nouns and verbs start in 1st grade (Common Core L.1.1). Adjectives and adverbs follow in 2nd and 3rd grade (L.2.1 and L.3.1a), and 3rd grade students explain what each one does in a sentence.

Can I make a worksheet on only one part of speech?

Yes. Type "adjectives", "nouns and verbs" or "adverbs that tell how" as the topic. The questions stay on that part.

Does it work for ELL and ESL students?

Yes. Choose a lower grade or "Below grade level" in More options for shorter sentences and simpler words.

Is there an answer key?

Every worksheet has one on its own page. The answer key is part of Unlimited.

Is it free?

You can make 1 AI worksheet a day for free. Unlimited removes the limit and unlocks the answer key.
